The advent of high performance computing, cloud computing, and building information modeling have accelerated industry design and delivery processes but AI/ML can radically disrupt the industry. The speaker will discuss new software and AI/ML workflows that can provide AEC companies the roadmap and tools necessary to harness the power of AI/ML.

Robert K. Otani, PE is CTO at Thornton-Tomasetti, a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm, and founded CORE in 2011, an applications development, advanced computational modeling, and R&D at TT and is the firm Liaison with TTWiiN, an entity created by Thornton Tomasetti focused on driving innovation to commercialization of products including Swarm and Konstru. He has over 25 years of structural design and project management experience and has led CORE’s innovative technologies.
